About the event
The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) passed in August 2022 included significant clean and renewable energy provisions. More than $369 billion in the bill will be distributed to help to advance clean energy and reduce methane emissions.
What does the IRA mean for New Hampshire?
In part two of the 'Deploying the Inflation Reduction Act' webinar series, Clean Energy NH will discuss a portion of the bill spotlighting solar energy. Tax credits for solar energy installations had been scaled back due to federal regulation. However, with the IRA, not only is there an increase in tax credits until 2033, it also includes a provision to work retroactively - reimbursing those that had solar installed priorto the legislation being passed. Opportunities and incentives are also available for New Hampshire businesses and low-to-moderate income (LMI) residents.
Executive Director, Sam Evans-Brown, will provide an update on what we know, what we don't know yet, and what this bill means for the future of solar in NH.
- Rachel Eades, Commercial Solar Consultant, ReVision Energy
- More speakers (To Be Announced)
There will be a Q&A opportunity at the end of the session.
